What is the role of Member Agencies

Members of the Coalition agree with the overarching objectives of the Coalition, and are looking forward to working with Coalition members to create a comprehensive vision and plan with specific goals to end the impact of homelessness in Campbell River.

They are willing to receive information that the Coalition feels is relevant to our shared objectives and commit to actively support and promote the initiatives that are identified by the Coalition to address the priority needs. Members understand our role will be to contribute to discussions that inform Coalition members to reach decisions.

Members of the Coalition will be comprised of representatives of community stakeholders from a diverse cross section of organizations including, but not limited to:

  • Indigenous groups (Friendship Centres, and not-for-profits)

  • Not-for-profit service provider organizations

  • Faith groups

  • Health agencies

  • Community groups

  • Not-for-profit housing providers

If you want to be involved but you don’t see your agency/organization as one of these, you might be eligible to become an Advisory Member - check out the link for more information.
